CD staff will be on hand to help you with any questions.

Receive assistance with:
Converting to Quick Time movies
Experiment with Quick Time Pro
Sound tracks -royalty free music will be available,
or try your hand at creating your own using
"Smart Sounds" software
Importing stills altered in image editing software
Incorporating special features of iMovie 2 into your video
Downloading additional special effects

Who is eligible to attend?

- Any CD participant
- Any CD partner
- Any guest of a participant or partner
......((CD participants and partners may each bring one guest)

What do participants need to bring?

Dress Casual! Be an Artist!
If you plan to work with your own film footage:
- Bring your footage and your creative ideas.
- Bring your district's Digital camcorder, with battery charged.
- Bring your firewire if you have one.
- If you attended the first Cinema SIG, review the handouts you
received during the first SIG for tips on shooting good footage.
- If you didn't attend the first SIG and would like to see the tips handouts, contact Robin for copies. Or borrow the complete "mini-trunk" from your site coordinator to see all the info.

If you would like to include Mavica images as special titles in iMovie.
- Bring your district's Mavica camera, battery charged, with a
blank disk or a disk with images.

If you would like to include a particular soundtrack:
- bring it as a CD
- please be aware of copyright issues.

**Important!! If you don't bring your own footage to work with during this SIG, or you didn't attend the first SIG, or you don't have any equipment, don't worry, footage will be provided for you. It would be a good idea, however, to complete the iMovie tutorial "Maddie gets a Bath" if you have access to an iMac.

Participants in the Photography S.I.G. will receive:

- Continental breakfast
- Additional technology handouts
- Opportunity to learn new skills, create movies, and have fun
- Opportunity to win fabulous door prizes, as always!
In addition, those CD participants who fulfilled their commitment by June 2000, and their partners of record, will receive a $40.00 stipend for half day attendance. No travel expenses will be reimbursed.
