TOPIC: The history of the Sunset Hills Elementary/ Rockbrook Elementary communities
PURPOSE STATEMENT:
How are the communities of Sunset Hills and Rockbrook Elementaries unique, and how can we portray that uniqueness through the performing arts, visual arts, and language arts?
FINAL PRODUCT:
Students will write stories based on the Nebraska post office murals, create a timeline for each of their elementary school's community history, write skits based on their short stories, and complete a mural that reflects these two unique communities.
