The Mural of Brady, Texas

"Deep in the Heart of Texas" lies Brady, Texas, a small town in the center of the state. Welcome to its post office.

The Brady mural was done by artist Gordon K. Grant who also did two other murals in California. The title of the mural is "Texas Immigrants" and is an oil on canvas that was done in 1939.

The post office has covered the mural in plastic for some odd reason - maybe to preserve it. The shine of the plastic made the mural difficult to photograph. Here are two views!
