Holly's Poem

Your name rhymes with "melon",

And when bullies gather around,

Like the melon you pull yourself into a ball.

They hurl insults at you, but your weakness they have not found yet.

Like an eagle that will ever soar,

You shake off the disease called doubt

That from the insults sprout.

Because you know deep within their core,

They're scared deep, deep down there.

And when they hurl boulders of cruelty at me,

I'll remember the eagle-girl whose name rhymes with "melon".

For she never gives up, but soars much higher

Than the puny land crawling liar.
