Jamie's Letter

Dear Editor:

I am an Omaha Indian named Rosie Aol. I work in Omaha for a shoe company. I am 24 years old. I went to school until the 8th grade and then my mom taught me. I live right outside of Omaha with my white husband and two 1-year-olds (twins) and I have lived there for two years. I belong to the Trinity Lutheran Church.

I feel that the Indians shouldn't have to live on reservations. They need more medication. The Indians don't have what it takes to survive. Then I think they shouldn't have a trial because they should have the governor and Judge Dundy to recommend the requirements.

Sincerely,

Rosie Aol Carter
